Journal profile:

The Journal of Diabetes Nursing has led the field of diabetes nursing since 1997 and is hugely popular both in the UK and internationally. It is a publication which can reach all nurses involved in the care of people with diabetes and enable them to share ideas, knowledge and expertise. It serves as a forum for discussion and assists in the dissemination of information.

The role of the Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) and the practice nurse in the day to day treatment of patients is an ever increasing one. An essential part of the treatment team, the nurse is often the one who is working most closely with the patient in managing the treatment regime and advising all involved in the prescribing of treatments.

Published 10 times each year the Journal of Diabetes Nursing is requested and read by over 7,000 key healthcare professionals, including every DSN and practice nurse with a special interest in diabetes health care.
